This book contains a lot of information and wisdom seldomly collected together in one place. The book discusses issue around information management including metadata, vocabularies and taxonomies. The web is now being used for serious applications deployment well beyond the personal website. This book is a must read for anyone serious about understanding the highlevel data structure, design and integration methods.

The main aim of the book is to explain the design of large scale web sites, the design characterisitcs of search engines and issues to consider around deployment. This book is about architecture and framework design.

Not a book of interest to the home user, but a star find for web masters, database administrators and support specialists. If it's not a book you want to own, you should know where it is in the library!
